RESEARCH/TEACHING EXPERIENCE RELATED TO CULTURALLY COMPETENT COMPASSION:
I started my PhD 2 years ago, under the supervision of Professor Irena Papadopoulos, on the topic of Mental Illness Stigma in Turkish and Greek Cypriot communities living in Cyprus, where I am mainly interested in cultural and individual differences and their impacts.
CURRENT AND FUTURE CONTRIBUTION TO VICTcORY:
I have contributed to the translations for the on-line compassion survey, collection and analysis of data. Currently I am involved in writing up a paper entitled “Investigating cultural aspects of compassion in nursing”.
